They are all in lovely, service used condition and are free of any extensive damage. The items in this lot: M31 Feldflasche (Field Bottle) aluminum canteen water bottle: The canteen is dated 1938 and does show signs of use and wear. There are the expected moth nips present on the wool cover and the leather is worn, cracked and dry.
Original Items: Only One Lot of 5 Available. This is a wonderful assortment of WWII German Army field gear and pouches. They are all in lovely, service used condition and are free of any extensive damage.
The items in this lot:
- M31 Feldflasche (Field Bottle) aluminum canteen water bottle: The canteen is dated 1938 and does show signs of use and wear. There are the expected moth nips present on the wool cover and the leather is worn, cracked and dry.
- 1937 Dated 98k 3 Pouch Leather Ammunition Pouch: The pouch is in excellent condition and has a 1937 date still visible,as well as a makers mark.
- Soviet Union Messkit
- 1943 Black Leather Optics Pouch: The pouch is in great condition with the original carry strap. It is marked dkk / 43 and has a visible waffenanmt.
- Medical Pouch: We believe this to be a medical pouch or for maps. The front still folds down and has the inserts to hold the various tools that would be inside.
This is a wonderful lot that comes ready for research and display.
